The Board of Selectmen and Parks and Recreation Committee received an appropriation of $200,000.00.as follows:

• $75,000.00 Preservation of the existing baseball field at Eiras Park by installing fencing, Topsoil, clay mix and hydro seed and the construction of dugouts and bleacher seating for the creation of areas for passive and active recreation at Eiras Park.
• $50,000.00 Presertvation of existing fields at Eiras Park by installing irrigation well and irrigation system.
• $75,000.00 Construction of a softball field at Pine Grove School

The Board of Selectmen and Community Preservation Committee received an appropriation of $2,750,000.00 for the purchase of 102 acres +/- known as the Bradstreet Farm. This parcel is identified on the Town’s Open Space Plan as a significant King’s Grant Property to preserve.
